Though it had seemed heavy when she packed it, it was worth the effort now that it could be put to use. The hard work of carrying it all the way wasn’t in vain.

Watching her, George realised what she intended to do and got up to assist her, taking the saw from her hand. “Let’s go, I’ll come with you!”

Milly smiled at him, her expression showing a touch of youthful charm. “Alright.”
