Chapter 72 Present

Early in the morning a caravan of SUVs arrive at Moon Stone Pack, three of the SUVs get surrounded by Warriors that emerged from the other SUVs and Pack–thembers keep glancing at the SUVs. Even though they know who are in two of the SUVs, the third occupant is a mystery to all of them and it becomes even more intriguing for the Pack–members when other Alphas and their leaderships arrive.

Queen Axelle had made the decision to not inform Moon Stone Pack that the trial would be held here or that every Pack had gotten a mandatory invitation. Arrangements were made for Warriors from the Palace to run border patrol, because Queen Axelle wanted every Pack–member to attend this trial and her Assistant had sent a team from the Palace to take care of the trial site.

The team had decided on the clearing next to the Pack–house for the trial and they had made sure they had everything with them they would need for this trial. A small platform is placed opposite the French doors to the Pack–house, Queen Axelle will be able to walk from the Pack–house straight to her seat without anyone getting in her way and on the other side of the platform are three chairs with silver chains attached to them.

Tables with chairs are lined up in rows of two, all the way to the back of the Pack–house and these are for the Alphas that come to witness the trial. Behind those tables are rows of chairs for the Pack–members. they have a right to a few answers and they deserve the truth as much as everyone else. One by one the Alphas started to arrive and the buzzing of voices became louder and louder, because none of them had

any answers.

Every Alpha gets guided to the table that is reserved for him and his leadership, King Alwin is already seated on the small platform where the Royal family will be seated while Ammon is waiting patiently for his Mother to arrive and Asha, Sila and Eryx are keeping him company. Each of them caught up in their own thoughts about the consequences of Alwin’s actions, but I doubt any of them has any idea that Alwin isn’t the only one to blame.

More and more Pack–members get to the clearing next to the Pack–house and they are told to take a seat anywhere they like, that everything will become clear soon. At the gate a new caravan of SUVs arrive and one of the Guards recognizes the SUV that belongs to their Gamma, he was informed by his Luna that he wasn’t allowed to let Zalia enter the territory. He steps in front of the

SUV and tells his Gamma that Zalia

isn’t welcome anymore.

Palace Warriors arrive at that exact moment to relieve the Pack–members that stand guard at the gate of duty and one of the Palace Warrior says that he has no say in it and pushes him to the side as he waves the SUV through. He tells the Guards they are relieved of duty for the time being and that their presence is needed at the Pack–house.
