The three Alpha’s all look at me in shock. They know what that means within a Lycan Pack. I am a force to be reckoned with. Becoming Commander of the Guards within a Lycan Pack is hard, even for a Lycan.

And with me being a Werewolf, you can do the math. And even though they now know my rank, it does not seem to diminish the strange looks they are giving me. Not that I care, but I know that no one of our Pack is amused and they will make sure that that is known.

Shaking my head, I turn around and walk over to Jenna Through mind–link I hear her say: “They really have a death wish. What the hell is wrong with these assholes I am going to have fun on the training field.”

“You will not be the only one.” I state. And we both turn towards the rest of our Squad to see the determent looks on their faces. Yep, the first few days on the training field are going to be fun for us.

Alpha Adam has assigned us a house next to the Pack–house, where we will be staying for the duration of our stay. We have to room with one and other to fit our group into the house.

But most of us are used to having one or more roommates, so that is not a problem. The only one who will not have a roommate is Alpha Maddox. That is the benefit of being an Alpha.

Jenna and I have to share a room, but that is all good. She is my best friend and has been by my side ever since I arrived at Maddox’s Pack over 12 years ago. She has seen the best and the worst of me over the years.

After unpacking our stuff, we head over to the Pack–house for a meeting with the Alpha’s, their Beta’s, Gamma’s, and the future Alpha’s. As always Marcus and Daniel lead the way, making sure everything is

secure.
