John escorts Nora and Greg to the Pack–house, to show them their room. In the meantime we go over everything we found, from smashed computers to papers. Julian is talking to Glenn, but he stops in the middle of the sentence when he sees what James is holding in his hand.

“Where did you find that?” He asks under his breath and all heads turn to him. James tells him that he had found it in a cave with a small entrance and we hear him mutter “Izzy.”

Glenn puts his hand on his knee and I can tell that they are talking through their mind–link. Julian holds out his hand and James hands him the bracelet. He turns it around in his hand, looking at it intently and then I see tears in his eyes.

“This belongs to Izzy.” He whispers. Dagmar asks him if he is sure that it belongs to her. He nods his head. and I can tell that everyone is confused. So I ask him how he can be so sure.

Holding the bracelet, the memory of the day I made it for her comes flooding back. “I made it for Izzy when she was eight. We were going to visit another Pack and we would be gone for a few days.

Now I understand why it looked so familiar, I remember the day he gave it to Izzy and I can still see the huge smile on her face as he put it on her wrist.

Dagmar looks at me in shock and we all realize that it can only mean one thing, if that bracelet was there, so was Izzy, John rushes back in to the house with a worried look on his face and Alice runs to him, needing his comfort.

Through the mind–link I quickly tell John what we had found out and I know he feels the same sadness, even though he never knew Izzy. We all know that the chance of her surviving was none, because we had found no one alive in those caves.

Glean looks at me and I know what he wants to ask, so I just nod my head: Glenn pulls Julian from the couch and leads him up the stairs. All the females are in tears and Eric has put Maggie on his lap, rocking her back and forth.
