I hope that Izzy is right, that whoever wrote that note did it during the attack and maybe we will get some answers. I ask her to read the note out loud and I can hear her unfold it.

Five minutes ago my Mate. Alpha John, told me to gather certain papers and put them in this lock–box.

We are under attack and my Mate has tried to surrender, but they just laughed at him. They have taken some of the women and pups captive, their Mates and Fathers have surrendered and have been bound with silver chains.

Their leader gave the order to capture me alive as they made their way to the Pack–house. I will take my own life before they can capture me.
