From the moment Izzy asked me to dig in to her Father’s past, I have wondered why she couldn’t ask him

about it.

But when I received the information early this morning. I wasn’t sure I wanted to share this with anyone. I know Izzy probably has a good reason for wanting this information.

I am waiting for my friend to show up, when I smell a familiar scent. “What is he doing here?” Jake asks in my head, but I have no answer for him.

My jaw drops when I see Izzy walk out of the woods, because the closer she gets the more I smell the scent. “He is your Mate?” I ask as soon as she is close enough to hear me.
