I walk into the house as my Mother tries to reach for me, and Fortune growls at her in a menacing way to make her back off. The moment I step into my room, I sigh in relief because everything is where it is supposed to be. I link my Father that they are free to go.

My bags are still in my car, but I will get those once I have had a shower. I really need to wash the events of the past week and a half off my body.
