I wake in the morning to an empty bed, I hear the shower running and I can tell that Mack is in the bathroom.

After putting some shorts on, I walk down the stairs to the kitchen and grab a cup of coffee before I start looking for our Mate. I find her on the back porch with a file on her lap and Levi has his laptop in front of him, probably going over some border patrol reports.

I kiss Maleah on the top of her head, before I sit down in a chair to her left. It takes about ten minutes before Mack joins us and Levi turns his attention from his laptop to our Mate.

"I sent Caspara, Matthew and Lily with a team after the Lowbane family, I would have done it myself but I don't have a clone." She says and I understand that this was a necessary evil for her.

"The Lowbane family was unguarded last night, they probably assumed that the Angel of Death was to busy elsewhere. I wanted to deal with Bradley in person, so I made the decision to sent others after the Lowbanes.
