Luca walked into the kitchen and he went on his usual routine, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and a glass. He poured his water before he took a sip of his drink, drinking as if he hadn't been drinking for days. Alena and I were staring at him but we didn't say a word.

He looked the same as always, visible dark circles under his eyes. Yet, he didn't need another advice from me-it was bound to be the same nagging from before and he didn't need to licarem every single day. He was an adult and he knew how to take better care of himself.

I wasn't his babysitter nor his caretaker. He was fine.

"Good morning to you too," I said, sarcastically.

"Right, morning lovebirds." He replied, sitting beside me before he glanced a few times at my scrambled eggs

I slowly offered him a bite and he took it without hesitation. Instead of being satisfied with a taste, he decided to grab the whole plate and went on to eat my part. I couldn't even be mad if I wanted to because I felt sorry whenever I looked at his face.

Luca lived alone in his house, he didn't have anyone. When we first met, I knew he was all by himself and it was easier to have him around because I didn't have to worry about him losing any of his family members.
