As if he was afraid of touching the wound on her wrist, he raised her hands above her head. He then held the back of her head with his other hand so that she couldn’t turn away or resist. Ava wanted to bite his tongue forcefully, but Damien saw it coming and moved his tongue away agilely, prying her teeth open while he was at it. Damien’s mouth tasted faintly like mint. Ava was wondering why he ate a mint candy, but soon, she became out of breath from the kiss. Her mind stopped working, and she subconsciously wrapped her hands around his neck so that she wouldn’t fall to the floor when she stepped backwards. He chuckled and pressed her against the wall. The kiss was long and passionate. When he let her go, she took deep breaths after deep breaths, and she was blushing profusely. Damien seemed to be in a good mood. He didn’t ask her anything else about Selden. Instead, he flashed a half-smile and asked, “Ava, do you want to sleep?” “I…Of course I want to sleep!”
Now that Damien was no longer holding her, she hurried up the stairs to her room on the first floor. Afraid that he would do something to her, she added, “I want to sleep alone!” She entered the room and closed the door. Damien didn’t follow her to the room. Her mother said at the time, “You are the young missus of the Radburry family! How could you not use something branded that fits your status? She didn’t care that she was in public at all. Meanwhile, Selden saw Ava and called out to her. “Ava, come over!” Ava didn’t want to go, but since Selden had already called her, she couldn’t just ignore him. The three of them sat down in Selden’s office. At first, Ava and Kelly put their handbags beside their bodies. But then, Kelly snorted softly and hid her handbag behind herself. “Ava, let me introduce my girlfriend to you. This is Kelly Hensley. Kelly, this is my best friend, Ava Nagel.”
Selden smiled and introduced the two of them to each other. He deliberately emphasized the word “friend”.
