When Damien arrived at the beach, there was no sign of anyone. Selina was gone, and Ava was nowhere to be found. The tides were rising. The waves started to become stronger as the wind blew fiercely. “I found something!” One of his men yelled suddenly. He rushed over desperately, only to find that his men had found a shoe from the sea. It was Ava’s shoes. “Sir, Madam may have…” “Impossible! Keep looking!” Damien’s eyes were red and his voice was even louder than before. How could something happen to her? Didn’t she escape from the container? Didn’t he arrest all the traffickers?
How could she be in danger? A few minutes later, another side of Ava’s shoe was washed up by the shore right beside his feet.
