She quietly looked at Damien, who was sitting in the distance. He had been surrounded by the crowd to toast just now. However, he was gone in the blink of an eye. She felt gloomy, and she didn’t feel like socializing with her colleagues anymore. Instead, she walked alone to a corner and sobered herself up. The night wind which blew in from the mountains was chilly. Ava was wearing a flimsy shirt, and it made her shiver incessantly when the cold breeze gusted through her.
Suddenly, she felt a weight on her shoulders, and soon saw a thick beige coat fell on her body. The coat still had the remains of warmth. She turned around and saw Damien. “Why are you here?” Ava hurriedly took off the coat and returned it to him. Her colleagues would gossip about her if they were to notice this scene. He tapped her shoulder and assured, “They’re all drinking beer over there, so no one’s gonna come.” Probably because of his drunken state, his face was also flushing red. His eyes were dark and bright, just like the vast stars in the night sky behind him. Suddenly, she was bedazzled by his astounding appearance. “I want to show you something.” He suddenly grabbed her hand and led her to the side. Some astronomy fanatic had brought over a telescope and situated it at the edge of the mountain. The mountain edge was the most suitable place to observe stars and universes.
Damien lowered his back and adjusted the telescope. Then he motioned for her to come over.

Ava went over with doubt, she didn’t know what he was trying to do. Then, she followed his instructions and stood in front of the telescope. She could see an entire galaxy of stars through the lens. The vast universe was at its grand and spectacular view. “Shift to your left a little. Do you see that?” “What am I supposed to see?” “The nebula over there is a Sagittarius. I bought an asteroid and named it after you. However, there are millions of them, and you probably can’t recognize yours. Just simply look will do.” “What?” Shocked, Ava immediately raised her head. However, she accidentally hit on his jaw while doing so. Unexpectedly, he was holding her shoulder from behind in such an intimate posture… She was a little shy. Damien smiled and told her, “Didn’t you ask me to pick a star for you from the sky? Since it’s too difficult to do so. Let’s hang it up in the sky.” She was stunned. She really did say those words to him while he stopped by her house the other day.
But that was just a thing she simply made up. It was obviously an outrageous wish to ask for! But he really did it. “You have no better place to spend your money, aren’t you?” Ava nagged. “You don’t like it?” “Even if I like it, I can’t move to that planet!” She wasn’t delighted at all, and Damien was a little disappointed at her response. She ought to know that he had put in a lot of effort to make it happen. “I was willing to pick the stars for you, but it turns out that I’m just not good enough.” His words made her heart jolted. She instinctively wanted to break free from his embrace, but he resisted it. Eventually, Ava gave up and sighed helplessly, “Damien, are you not going to let me go?” “It was you who provoked me first. So, why should I?”
She looked into his eyes. The night was dark, and she couldn’t seem to decipher his thoughts at all.
In her remnants of memories, everyone warned her that he was a bad guy who had hurt her numerous times.
But why was this bad guy so good to her? “Damien Radbury, just what kind of relationship do we have in the past?” “You once liked me. You loved me for many years.” / “I’ve liked you. Have you ever liked me?” “The word ‘like’ can’t accurately define my feelings for you.” He held her waist and bent over to kiss her. In contrast with his blunt and forceful manner, he was soft and gentle this time. It seemed that she could push him away easily.
