Looking back, I’d never imagined I would look for Reina this long. As each year passed, Angela and I kept on wondering what our baby girl would look like. We knew she was still alive out there somewhere, we just didn’t know where.

I’d sent out letters, emails, and calls to various packs together with her picture but nothing had come back positive about it. Instead, it motivated us to keep going.

I stared at the picture of my family on my office table. Angela had painted all of us including Reina in the frame and it brought joy to my heart each time I stared at it. It gave me hope that one day my girl would be in that picture and not just as a painting.
