Chapter 93: The Contract At The Top Of Her Mind.

Ivy stirred on the bed. Her eyes widened as she looked at the ceiling

Silas snored softly beside her and that sharpened her senses. She stood up, carefully removing his hand wrapped around her protectively

She tiptoed to the bathroom not wanting to wake him up. Once she entered, she closed the door gently, and released at stained noise.

"What the fuck!" she gasped, but a smile creeped to her lips.

Even though she was freaking out, she couldn't deny the fact that she enjoyed it. She had finally surrendered herself to Silas, allowing him to take her to places she never imagined. And she loved it!

She couldn't even think of anything, she didn't want to anyway, so she prepared a bath and soaked herself inside

When she came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body, Silas stretched and sat upright on the bed. "Good morning," she greeted, her cheeks burning uncontrollably

"Morning beautiful" Silas said, his voice husky from sleep. "Did you sleep well?”

"Yes," she said, nodding her head. "And you?"

"Like a baby," he chuckled.

Ivy stood still, her blush deepening, yet she couldn't take her eyes off him. "Take off that towel and come to bed," he said in his usual compelling tone.

Her breath hitched at his command and she took a step closer, but he stopped her with the raising of his hand.

"Take it off right there, and come to me naked."

Ivy's heart fluttered and suddenly, she felt empowered by his command, by his anticipation. She flipped her wet hair, training her eyes to stay on him without pulling away shyly

Slowly, she dropped her towel and watched as his hazel eyes widened with delight at the sight.

"Fuck, Ivy," he groaned, his eyes darting from one breast to the other, unable to focus on one.

His confusion strengthened her and she sauntered to him, her eyes still on him. When she reached the bed, he grabbed her, pulling her into a kiss.

Ivy melted with his kiss, all the shyness disappearing as she took charge of it. She

felt him shiver as she rolled her tongue inside his mouth.

He laid her slowly on the bed and made love to her again.

The rest of the morning, they just cuddled beside each other. Ivy could hear

"I could stay here forever," he said.

She chuckled. "Forever is a long time, Silas."

His grip tightened around her arm. "I'm serious, Ivy."

His voice was low, serious, and it made her heart plummet. She wanted to enjoy

this, she wanted to believe this, but the contract sat at the top of her mind, reminding her of the shortness of it all. But she wanted this too.

Without thinking, she leaned forward. "Stay with me."

His brow lifted. "I am with you."

"I mean stay in my room" she said, biting her lip, anticipating his rejection.

"Oh, Ivy," Silas said, burying his head on her chest. "I would love that. The delight of making love to you every night, waking up next to you every morning. I want that, Ivy. Thank you,"
