Silas jolted out of sleep, stretching as he uncurled from the small chair he was sleeping in He lifted his head and saw that the doctor was standing in front of him.

Silas returned to the small chair, not knowing how to handle his feelings. He was scared and angry that Kim had injured herself when she should have been out of his house and out of his life.
