Calliope glanced at Silas, suddenly uncertain. What exactly was going on between him and this woman? Was Phoebe's father, his business partner, really that influential here? Could she truly end things for Silas just like that?

She'd been too fired up about Hudson to think straight before, but now that her anger cooled, Calliope began to worry she'd created trouble for Silas.
