As soon as Calliope heard her phone buzzing nonstop, she fished it out of her purse. Every single message was from Gideon.

She couldn't help but roll her eyes. Glancing over in Gideon's direction, she wondered what the heck was wrong with him.

Honestly, she'd never realized just how nuts Gideon could be.

Without another thought, Calliope blocked his number.

Gideon, meanwhile, frowned when his texts suddenly wouldn't go through. He shot a look toward Calliope, convinced that her blocking him meant she still cared. In some twisted way, that made perfect sense to him.

Of course, Calliope had no idea that Gideon's mind worked in such a bizarre way.

Just then, Calista came over, needing to talk to Calliope about something, so he pulled her outside for a quick chat.

After a few minutes, Calista's eyes lit up, like he'd just solved a riddle.
