Belinda came to an abrupt halt. “Someone is after my medicine?” she gasped.

The memory was crystal clear. Just a few days earlier, her doctor had phoned her with an update, telling her that she was currently the most critical stomach cancer patient at Peace Hospital.

Belinda understood that opportunities like this were rare. That was why she had hurried from the party to the airport that very night, making her way back to Nawrin to begin her treatment at Peace Hospital.
