Chapter 154:

Kristopher scowled, responding, “That’s impossible! Cathy would never do such a thing!”

“And neither would Belinda.” Anthony scoffed. “You’ve been married to her for three years. When has she ever acted against your interests? She was once so vibrant and cheerful, yet for your sake, she changed, suppressing her true self and enduring others’ snide remarks. Has she ever complained? If she were selfish, she wouldn’t have agreed to keep your marriage a secret for three years!”

Looking intently at Kristopher, Anthony continued, “Besides, even if it was Belinda who leaked this, perhaps she did it because you and your girlfriend crossed the line! You owe her an apology!”

After Anthony’s declaration, a hush enveloped the ward. The anger etched on Anthony’s face was evident, prompting Kristopher to frown deeply.

During this tumultuous period, Belinda repeatedly tested his patience. Without his agreement, she had terminated their pregnancy. She had made unfounded assumptions about his relationship with Cathy. She had announced their impending divorce in a public setting and then failed to appear on the scheduled day of their separation. Moreover, she had been seen with multiple men.

Despite these provocations, he had shown forbearance time and again, even planning to celebrate her upcoming birthday. Yet, what had he received in return? She continually pushed his boundaries. Today, she had escalated matters by posting their marriage certificate online along with a lengthy message aimed at destroying both Cathy and him.
