Chapter 44

Anna Lawson held Yvonne’s hand and ran into the house.

As she ran, she said angrily, “Teddy is too much! I must tell Mom about this…”

Yvonne was dragged along by her, and the black dog was chasing after them crazily.

Teddy had a wound on its hind leg. Two days ago, it accidentally got injured again, so when it chased after Yvonne and Anna, Fred was very worried.

He stared at it for a while and rubbed his eyes in disbelief, wondering. How come Teddy’s healed when it’s running now? It usually walks normally, but whenever it runs, it limps and looks miserable.

Fred even thought that he was seeing things until a surprised voice came from the side. “Teddy’s hind leg has recovered?”

Only then did Fred realize that he was not seeing things, but that Teddy had really recovered.

“Did you apply medicine to it?” Fred turned to ask the man who had just spoken.

The man nodded in a daze.

However, after saying that, he was very puzzled. “I applied the medicine to it normally. After that, it looked no different than before, and its leg was still limping. How did it suddenly recover?”

After hesitating for a while, he said, “Could it be that Teddy was faking limp in the past?”

Someone said, “Are you kidding me? We could see the flesh on its leg. How could Teddy fake it?”

They discussed one after another, guessing the reason why Teddy’s leg was healed.

Suddenly, Fred interrupted them. “Alright now. We’ll find out about this by taking a look at its medicine.”

On the other side, Yvonne was pulled into the room

Anna closed the door and did not let Teddy in

When she turned around and saw the tears on Yvonne’s face, she hurriedly wiped her tears. “Don’t cry, Yvonne. When my mom comes back, I’ll tell her about what happened. Teddy won’t get to eat anything tonight.”

Yvonne also wiped the tears on her face and nodded obediently.

She had been crying with Anna. Now that Anna had stopped crying, she stopped crying too.

After the two little girls calmed down, Anna pointed at a solid wooden cabinet and said to Yvonne, “Those are the two. flowers you gave me previously. My mom put them in a vase. They haven’t withered yet!”

Yvonne looked in the direction she was pointing at. The first thing she saw was a beautiful vase. Just as she was about to look away, she was attracted by a large rectangular photo frame on the wall
