Chloe blinked. "Lotus Manor," she said.

She was terrified Candy would ask about what happened yesterday, but luckily, the call was just to tell her about a new job.

"Get ready. If this job goes well, you'll make a good chunk of cash. You've been short on money lately, right?" Candy said. "Alright, got it. I'll be back soon," Chloe said.

She ended up at Lotus Manor last night purely by accident. If she hadn't been drunk, she never would've gone back.

Now that she's sober, she's gotta go.

The maid noticed Chloe putting on her coat and instinctively asked, "Mrs. Shawn, heading out?"
