William Cross’s face turned ugly as he stepped closer to me. “Elena, you don’t want your reputation, but the institute still needs its reputation!”

I fired back with cold sarcasm. “Senior William, do you think the Northern Territory Central Healing Institute is your personal property to stage such a drama?”

Before Cross could respond, Heidi Cross pointed at me angrily. Her face was twisted with rage.
