She had done her research on the company. Starlight Entertainment had a dozen or so executives, most of whom owed their position to family connections. The place was infamous for squeezing every last drop out of their talent, and its reputation in the entertainment world was practically toxic.

Their talents were all at the perfect age to shine, yet many were stuck in contracts lasting ten, sometimes even

twenty years.
