I watched as four maids entered Aurora’s room with trays of food and drinks before shaking my head at Ivan who was standing in front of them, chaperoning what was going on.

His eyes met mine and he nodded in greeting, and I raised an eyebrow. “She needs to eat. The maids found her laying on the ground with little to no energy.
