It took me a few minutes to process the fact that I was slapped in the face by Aurora.

The way that she looked at me, and her pain that I saw in her eyes was one that I didn’t like. But I knew that I had crossed the line with my words to her, and considering that I knew that she was supposed to be having a guest over in a bit, I didn’t know how things were going to be right now.
