I had to admit, a small part of me regretted calling her mother to begin with, but I knew that she was still the person who raised me, and what she did for me was something that I wasn’t going to deny regardless of how things came out to be.

But I knew that we weren’t going to be able to change what actually happened nor were we going to be able to go back in time to stop her from hurting me the way that she did. We were forced to accept things the way that they were.

And that was something that was going to be the fact until the end of time.
