I frowned when I looked at Katherine as she lay on the chair beside Alonso.

He was still in the hospital and was still asleep, something that angered me as I knew that I was forced to stay quiet, at least until he woke up and we went home.

“Enzo?” Katherine called, her eyes widening in surprise when she took sight of me. I looked at her and she walked toward me, wanting to wrap her arms around me as to pull me in for a hug.
