Hayley's POV:

Truman struggled to get up from the floor, looking at me helplessly.

He clutched his injury, his face tight with pain, but he didn't make a sound.

He was pushy and rude. I didn't think he deserved any pity.

Truman glanced up at me. "I ordered breakfast. How about we eat first before I head out?"
