Chapter 103
“Daisy, Liam.” Hazel called, walking to where her kids had been sitting moments ago. The balcony was now empty. They were gone.
“Nathan, have you seen the kids?” Hazel asked, turning to him.
They were here just now, watching people arrive,” he replied. He had left them there for a moment to get water, and now they were nowhere to be seen. The two stood looking around.
“Where could they have gone?” Hazel asked, feeling confused.
“You don’t think they headed to the venue, right?” Nathan asked.
The venue?” Hazel questioned.
“Today’s the hospital fundraiser; they’ve been perched here for some time now, watching guests arrive,” Nathan replied. Hazel sighed.
“They could be downstairs,” Nathan mused thoughtfully.
“They shouldn’t be there,” Hazel stated worriedly.
The event would be teeming with people, it was no place for children.
“I’ll go find them.” Nathan offered.
“Thank you,” she replied with a smile.

In response, Bella callously retorted, “You should bring up your kids properly.” Nathan, concerned for Liam and seeking clarity, turned to him. “What happened?” he inquired softly, only to learn about the incident involving Daisy bumping into Bella.
Nathan’s calm demeanor turned stormy as he confronted Bella with what he had been told.
“Is that why you hurt her? Over some cheap piece of outfit?!” His accusation hung in the air, demanding an answer.
Bella, unmoved and indignant, scoffed, “A cheap piece of outfit?! It’s something one would never be able to afford even if
