I lingered for a moment on the cropped hoodie, trying to think if it was something I wanted to wear but when I pulled it over my head and it fits perfectly over the jeans I had picked out, I hummed in satisfaction and chose to go along with it. I didn’t have the time to go through several other options.

I brushed out my hair for a minute and contemplated what to do with it, but when I heard the doorbell ring, it forced me into action, I pulled it into a messy bun, leaving out some pieces to frame out my face and I had already begun making my way out of the room hurriedly to open the door but I rushed back in and pulled out a gloss, applying it on my lips before looking in the mirror and smiling at the result of it all.
