Jimmy was drunk, and his words lost their usual filter.

The crowd erupted in raucous laughter.

At that, with a look of fury, Valor slammed his glass down on the floor with a resounding crash.

The amber liquid and shards of glass splattered everywhere.

“Jimmy! Shut the hell up. Watch your damn mouth!” Valor stood up, his face flushed with anger, and knocked over the pyramid of champagne flutes on the table.

Dozens of glasses toppled to the floor.

“Valor, have you lost your freaking mind! Can’t you see you’re nothing but Howard’s. lapdog? He’s fallen from grace, and you’re the only one upset, still singing his praises on Facebook!” Jimmy howled with derision.

Valor grabbed him by the collar and landed a solid punch to his face. “Dwarf, who are you calling a lapdog? Repeat it. I dare you!”

“Valor, you’re out of your mind!” Standing at five–foot–three, Jimmy had been mockingly nicknamed ‘dwarf, which drove him mad every time he heard it.

The two quickly came to blows, with Valor delivering punch after punch, his rage unmistakable. Jimmy stood no chance against him.
