Howard extended the laptop to her with a casual flick of his wrist.

Gwendolyn plugged the USB drive in without hesitation. She opened the drive and saw a folder titled “Cultivating Character.”

Beneath it were two more folders labeled “Exploring the Human Mystery” and “Embrace and Conquer.”

A slight frown creased Gwendolyn’s brow as she mused that Sandra had a peculiar interest in medicine.

Each folder had hundreds of videos, all numerically labeled, their content inscrutable, their lengths impressive.

Howard only glanced at the screen, his eyes darkening just a smidge.

“You sure you want to watch this now?” he murmured.

“Yeah.”

Gwendolyn clicked on the first video in the “Embrace and Conquer” folder. The screen filled with the sculpted bodies of foreign men, muscle–bound and entwined with a woman.

Suddenly, a woman’s unmistakable, over–the–top shrieks filled the car.

Gwendolyn stiffened, her cheeks ablaze, as she slammed the laptop shut.
