Although Nicholas had never met someone so ungrateful, he subconsciously stood up and looked around before he picked up a black leather shoe that was weaved with some suede from a corner. Squatting down, he placed the shoe beside her feet. Right then, Nicholas was utterly irritated by her wails. He had seen many women cried before, but never a woman who cried like a banshee.
