Right as her lips curved into a smile, she froze, capturing a bowtie on the top of a squiggly snake.

Did the squiggly lines mean it was playing? The ring patterns did look a lot like Bree's scales. Yvette was still too little, so her drawing wasn't very intricate, and the colors were somewhat off. But when she looked closely, she could still tell the three squiggly lines were connected. They were probably 'holding hands', weren't they? The small one in the middle with the bowtie was probably Bree, and the one to its side with the long hair must be its mother while the one with a mustache must be its father!

Lauren's heart ached as she looked at it!

Returning from washing her hands, Yvette leaned against the dining table, which was still a little tall for her right then, and looked at the dishes. It was always a joy to watch her eat.
