Victoria's gaze landed reflexively on the ruby and sapphire bracelet. Ever since discovering its secret, no matter what outfit she matched it with, whether she liked it or not, if it was visible under winter clothing, or if it meant anything, she barely ever took it off. She always had a feeling there was more than what she was seeing, but who'd thought the person to reveal it would be this cousin-in-law she had never met.
