Chapter 88 – Miles Another day of treatment. They were becoming repetitive. But, if I forced myself, they were almost bearable, and it meant I got to spend at least a little time with Kaia. I got to see her smile. See the way her eyes lit up as she laughed… Feel the way my heart warmed if I was blessed with a giggle… or a little sideways. glance through her long lashes… And, it meant I was moving toward my end goal of leaving this place quicker. I requested additional sessions each day, shocking the therapists, but they didn’t see my plan. If I had the additional sessions, it made it more likely they would see me as completing their b*t p*ogramme sooner, and allow me to leave earlier. Completing the programme earlier had become my main goal. My second goal had become making Kaia mine, one way or another. I had briefly spoken to Ellis, who had told me he had been training. Not just regular day to day training. Oh no, this was a full-on, hard and fast training that only Alphas were sent on. The specialized Alpha training. Hearing that infuriated me. My younger brother was training for a spot that was rightly mine. That told me that my parents were taking this consideration of allocating him as Alpha seriously, and I could not have that.
