I honestly think she had begun to suspect something was going on between the two of us. But, Asher seemed reluctant to talk about this with her, and after we had spoken about it, I could understand why. It was a difficult subject to broach. I lied, but Alli didn't need to know that, after all, Morgan would be arriving soon enough, so that much was true, and Alli would likely see her with me in pack.
