Casper nodded, then headed into the underground gambling resort, which was located in a semi-basement. Its entrance was covered with two layers of quilt so that the place was soundproofed. When Stallion stepped forward and pulled the door open, loud chatters and noises rang out.

Then, Casper walked inside. The place was messy. There were around a dozen tables. At every two tables, a gang member stood by, watching. Various games were available, such as dominoes, rummy, poker, dice, and baccarat. Although the place seemed dingy, most games that were usually seen at casinos were included there.

The air reeked of cigarette smoke. Other than the dealers, everyone was basically holding a cigarette. They were emotional, and their eyes were bloodshot. This was either because they had lost a lot of money or they amassed a fortune.

Stallion brought Casper along, passing through the gambling resort, and went directly to the owner’s room.

The owner was a chubby and sleazy-looking man in his forties. His name was Timothy Sandberg. He was always smiling, yet people like him were the most dangerous.

“This is our boss!” exclaimed Stallion as he gave Casper a thumbs up. The chubby man immediately handed a cigarette over and began complimenting, “You’re a young and promising man! With the help of Dragon and Tiger Gang, I was able to open this gambling resort.” He paused and spat, then continued, “Now, this has already become Firewolf Chamber’s territory. Sorry for talking nonsense! I deserve to be punished.”

With that, Timothy gave himself a slap. It was so hard that the sound echoed through the entire room.

“That’s enough,” Casper interrupted. “How long has this gambling resort been operating?”

“Business has been going on for a year. However, it’s only partially open. If we aren’t under strict surveillance, we’ll keep it open; if not, we’ll close it,” replied Timothy, giggling.

“How much money have you made for Firewolf Chamber?” asked Casper.

Staring at the man, Timothy was contemplating whether or not the former was easy to fool. As soon as Casper showed the gun on his waist, Timothy’s face turned pale. “Let me calculate it for you. If we add up the money we make from those gamblers, it’ll be around forty thousand. But most of the revenue we make is from the debts. After calculating the interests, the money we lend to them starts at ten thousand, and we can get a hundred thousand in return.”

Shaking his head, Casper thought that such a business operation had ruined the lives of many. He waved his hand and said, “Shut it down soon. Firewolf Chamber doesn’t need this small amount of money.”
