All of a sudden, she recalled that uneasy feeling she had felt two months ago when she returned from Moranta. That night, she could not sleep well because Alexander did not reply to her text.

Now that she thought about it, she figured something must have happened on the day she left.

I failed to dodge in time, so I got shot in the abdomen and fell. I remembered everything when I woke up after the surgery.”
