Lilac entered the room awkwardly, as she stared at her surroundings and then found Hunter was sitting on the edge of the bed, now she was awake enough and the shock from finding out she was sleeping on the same room and bed with Hunter again, had worn out, she was in awe with this room.

“Where have you been?” Hunter asked, as he lifted his head to look at her. He frowned disapprovingly because Lilac had disappeared without telling him anything.
“I wanted to see this place, so I walked for a while.” Lilac stood four steps away from Hunter, as if she tried to avoid him, as if she could do that here in his territory, in his own pack house.
Hunter narrowed his eyes. “I can walk with you.”
“You were sleeping.”
“You can wake me up.”
Lilac frowned. “I am fine walking alone.”
Hunter rubbed his face roughly. “Next time wake me up if you want to walk in the early morning.”
“What do you mean with that?” Lilac’s frown deepened when she heard what he said. “Why should I walk to your bedroom first if I want to walk in the morning?”
“You don’t need to walk into my room, because you will sleep here.”
“No way!” Lilac protested. “If I slept here, where will you sleep?”
Hunter stood up and approached Lilac, he ruffled her hair when he walked past her and took the towel to go to the bathroom. “Of course, here. This is my bedroom for two decades, why should I sleep somewhere else?”

This man was really insufferable!
“Can’t you put some clothes?” Lilac hugged herself on the sofa, she tried to look everywhere, but him. Yet, she couldn’t reign her curiosity and kept stealing a glance at him and that dam n towel around his hips.

“Put your clothes first and then walk here to take it by yourself!” Lilac was annoyed, knowing so dam n well how he was teasing her right now.
“Why can’t you help me with this simple small favor?” Hunter frowned, but his eyes were smiling to see how Lilac looked very frustrated.
And after some back and forth argumentation, Lilac reluctantly took the cloak for Hunter and handed it to him.

“You don’t need a cloak, right? The weather is warm enough,” Lilac protested and her heart s k i p p e d a beat when hunter touched her fingers, he must have done it intentionally.
As if she was being electrocuted, Lilac jumped away from him.
“I want my own bedroom.”
“There is no empty bedroom here.”
“Liar!” Lilac scoffed. “I saw a few empty bedrooms in this magnificent place, don’t you lie to me.”
“Those bedrooms are very small. You can’t live there.” Hunter glanced at Lilac, who had her back against him and he was smiling happily to see how embarrassed she
was.
“I have lived in smaller bedroom than that and I am fine with it!” Lilac felt she was in danger if she had to spend another night on the same bed like this alpha.
“Don’t be ridiculous. I have told you that I will not let you live in a small bedroom. like that. That’s not what you deserved.”
“And what do you think I deserved?” Lilac had been living without any expectation, until the smallest kindness meant the world for her, therefore, she didn’t know what she expected and what she deserved to have. If she really had something to desire about.
This time when Hunter finally emerged from the walk in closet, he had dressed appropriately and he took the cloak with him, he draped it on her shoulders, which startled Lilac. She turned around and found his complicated gaze was on
her.
“I will show you what you deserve, Lilac and you deserve nothing less than this.”
Lilac was confused, she couldn’t understand why Hunter looked a little bit angry, but then she didn’t have time to ask when he took her hand and both of them walked out of the bedroom.
