Lilac really didn’t buy it when Hunter said she was pretty. “I knew I am pretty, but what is the point of being pretty when you were smelly?”
All of sudden, after what Lilac said, Hunter bent his b*dy and then smelled her. It happened very sudden and she didn’t have time to react to that. Lilac was actually petrified when she felt his warm breath against her neck and how his skin touched her cheek when he sniffed her, so close, she felt like her face was going to get
burned.
“No. You are not. You smell nice. Sweet even,” Hunter said in low voice, as if he was whispering something to her and this gesture was very intimate. People who saw them would think he was going to k*ss her or something. What he was doing was very provocative.
“What are you doing?!” Lilac hissed, she facepalmed Hunter and pushed his face. away from her before she could do something even more embarrassing because of how nervous she was.
However, the culprit simply laughed at her reaction, this was as he had expected. He liked how she got mad at him and became very frustrated. He thought, it was a very bad habit, but he couldn’t find a way to stop himself. It was very addicted.
“I help you. Now, you can rest assure, because you don’t smell bad at all.”
Lilac couldn’t find a word to retort that, because she was busy to calm her heart down. Why she was very flustered upon what Hunter did to her? She should be very angry because this man was trying to take advantage of her and tease her over and over again, but she was being timid instead.

In the middle of their bickering, Rye, the gamm a, approached them and told Hunter there was something important that he needed to report to him.
“Can I have a moment with him, please?” Rye asked, he smiled at Lilac and greeted) her politely. This must be the first time they met with each other, because it couldn’t be counted as a meeting when she was unconscious and Rye didn’t attend her introduction this morning. “I promise I will bring him back to you in less than ten minutes.”
But, of course, the word about Lilac was being the alpha’s woman had spread so wide and far, it spread like a wildfire and this was what Rye was going to tell the alpha.

Lilac was sure, if she had to wait for long time, for Hunter and Rye finished their discussion, there must be one or two women started coming closer to her, wanting to confirm what the meaning behind the words that the alpha said in this morning, because in their eyes, it didn’t make sense at all.
And Lilac’s intuition was proven right, because less than three minutes she was alone, two women came approaching her and greeted her politely.

Their polite greetings and how nice they were trying to engage in conversation with Lilac, was not able to conceal their true intention and eventually, they asked the question that Lilac had been waiting for.
