“I think I told you before that I don’t want to train anymore, but why do you still bring me here?” Lilac sulked, as she followed Hunter to the outer stadium, where all the warriors were training.
After what happened the last time, Lilac took a complete rest for a week and during that time, Raya, Lena and Rose would come to visit her. She didn’t make a lot of friends still, because she didn’t think she was good at it and more so because they still looked at her with a furrow between their brows.
It was hard to accept her, especially if she would become the future luna of the pack.
But, Lilac didn’t mind it at all.
“You are fine now,” Hunter pointed it the obvious.
It had been a month since what happened and now Hunter took her here again to train. He had not yet given up with the idea for Lilac to be able to protect herself.
Lilac loved the idea too, but her b*dy simply couldn’t keep up with her desire to be capable of protecting herself, as if her whole b*dy was protested whenever she used her energy excessively, even for daily basis.
“You will tire me out soon if you insisted for me to keep training with you,” Lilac said helplessly. She had been discouraged and given up with the idea of training, because drained out of your energy was not a nice feeling.
She felt very vulnerable.
“The problem with you is because your beast form is too weak, that’s why you can’t sustain that form for long and this affected your physical ability too.” Hunter ignored Lilac’s protest. They were already here, what else she wanted to complain about. “Why did you suppress your beast?”

“Me? Suppressing my beast?” Lilac didn’t understand, she stopped walking when Hunter did. This was the same spot, where Darren was ‘warming up’ with her almost a month ago. “I don’t understand.”
“How many times. you shift into your beast in a weak?”
“I can go without shifting into my beast for a year.”
Hunter widened his eyes in surprised and his voice was very heavy when he spoke

again. “A year!?” He came closer toward Lilac, but she took a step back out of instinct because right now the alpha lycan was very intimidating. “How can you not shift within a year?!”
Lilac blinked her eyes. “Why I can’t?”
“This is the problem…” Hunter clicked his tongue and shook his head, which made. Lilac frowned even deeper.
“What do you mean with problem?”
“You are the problem, Lilac How can you not shift into your beast for a year?”
“I don’t understand.”
This was another thing that shock Hunter as well, because from the look of it, Lilac was seemingly genuine not to know about this.
With that, Hunter had to explain everything to her about why there was the need to balance between your human side and their beast side for shifters.
“It applies to lycan too, because we are actually the same creature, but we are blessed with more power and strength,” Hunter explained it calmly.
Today, Lilac learned a new thing from Hunter about the balance between their beast form and their human form, something that she had never learned before.
She always thought, she didn’t need to shift into her beast, because a woman didn’t usually use to run in their beast form, their beast form was only to defense and attack, but even that rule only applied to men, since there was no women to be warriors in her pack, therefore, most of werewolves women were physically weak, just like Lilac.
She explained about that perception to Hunter too, which he said how wrong it
