Ruby had been very upset ever since Aiden let that lycan woman to stay close to their bedroom, she had been harboring this ill intention toward her, but she didn’t know what to do in this kind of situation. She didn’t have any friend, neither she had an ally.
Not to mention, her problem was not only with Aiden and this woman named Grace, but also with luna Jasmine. The luna didn’t give her some slack at all in her daily lesson.
Even though she was no longer a luna, because alpha James had retreated from his position as the alpha of the pack, but she still handled most of the things inside the pack house, instead of giving the authority to Grace, since she was the luna of the pack right now.
Her reason would be because of her pregnancy and she didn’t want her to be more stressful than this if she had to be burdened by a lot of tasks, and yet, contrary of what she said, she gave Ruby a lot of things to do, so she wouldn’t forget her lesson.
There was time when her stomach felt the cramp and only then luna Jasmine seemed a little bit more understanding with her, because before this, she would have scoffed to
see how tired she was.
“Who are you actually? What do you want to be here?” Ruby finally confronted Grace one morning before they went to the dining hall to get their breakfast.
Ruby didn’t want to go out of her bedroom, but luna Jasmine insisted for her to make an appearance during breakfast.
Grace didn’t regard her at all, she only glanced at Ruby and her bulging stomach before striding away, but Ruby insisted, as she grabbed her hand tightly and this made Grace furious, as she shoved her aside.
“Don’t you dare to touch me!” Grace roared.

Fortunately, Ruby could get her balance just in time, or else, she would have crashed down and put her baby at risk.
“How dare you to talk with me like this!? I am the luna of the pack!” At this time, Ruby remembered what luna Jasmine taught her. She needed to stand up for herself, no matter what, she was the face of the pack now and no one could tram ple her so easily.
That was how luna Jasmine taught her, but in truth, it was she herself, who always treated her no more than an unpleasant sight.
“Luna?” Grace scowled when she heard that words. “You can only be a luna because you are a wh ore, who can’t close your legs to a man,” she said, the insult sounded

Meanwhile Ruby looked desperate, her back looked very lonely. She thought by coming here, she would be able to better her life, but who would have thought that her life would be more miserable than ever.
She loved Aiden and she was genuinely happy with him at first, but right now, she couldn’t tell about how she was feeling about him for sure.
Seething in anger, Ruby decided not to join with them to have breakfast. Probably, it would be better if this baby didn’t need to be born at all.
“So, are you changing your mind about hanging me in the square?” Kellan taunted Hunter.
