‘Don’t you have enough affair already?’
That word was very obvious for everyone there to understand what Hunter meant with that. Of course, he was talking about the affair that Aiden had with Ruby.
Aiden’s face turned from pale to ashen, as he understood what Hunter meant by that. He wanted to jump into his beast form and strangled this man with his own hand, but thankfully, his rational side was still working, because attacking the alpha lycan would only cause trouble for them.
More so, they happened meet in the battlefield once, thus Aiden knew very well that he was not Hunter match.
“You are very cruel!” Danny hissed. He glared at the alpha and gritted his teeth.
“It’s so expensive when it came from you,” Hunter said lightly, but the way he stared at Danny was not light at all, which made the gam ma lowered his head.
Both of them knew what Danny had done to the warrior lycan that he managed to catch during the battle, thus it was very hypocrite of him to call Hunter as the cruel one when he was not ‘nice’ either.
“I have gone this far to hand them offer to you all, but if you don’t feel grateful, you can do whatever with them. You asked for them.” Hunter waved his hands toward the mute and blind shifters that he brought with him.
All of them grimaced, they balled their fists and were not able to come with anything to retort what Hunter said.
Yes, these warriors were the member of their pack, but in their mind, once they were returned, they would be able to go back to their position as warrior, protecting their pack, but with their current condition, not even they would be a burden, but they would only be thrash in their pack, since they couldn’t do anything on their own.
On the other hand, Lilac felt less terrified at Hunter after she realized what he said was right about the war prisoners, even though she didn’t agree with the way he tortured them. After all, these warriors only followed order from their alpha and what Hunter had done to them was too cruel. This kind of punishment was even worst than death in her opinion.

“Alpha Hunter, I have something to talk with you,” Aiden said after a long silent, but this didn’t surprise Hunter at all. He expected to have a private conversation with him after all, thus he didn’t reject.

and pecked Lilac’s cheek. This kind display of affection was something usual for the werewolf, especially to their mate, but Aiden felt uncomfortable to witness it.
It almost like they were taunting him when in reality, they didn’t even care much about
him!
All of that was only in Aiden’s mind and whatever nasty thought in his mind was seen on his face right now, which made Ruby felt extremely uncomfortable. She was his woman and she wanted his attention, despite how much he hurt her over and over again.
Thus, foolishly, she tried again.
Ruby leaned over and k*ssed Aiden’s cheek, which made him snapped his head, but thankfully he didn’t snarl at her, because he was well aware of their current surroundings.
“Be careful, okay.” Ruby smiled at him.
Fighting the urge to push the woman away and desperate idea to get a tidbit of Lilac’s attention, Aiden actually pulled Ruby closer to him and k*ss her lips instead, but in actuality, he bit her lip down until both of them could taste blood and only then he separated himself from her, while showing a brilliant smile.
“What should I be afraid of?” Aiden said, his voice laced with honey.
Ruby wanted to cry because her lips were so hurt, but she endured it and licked the blood until it healed on its own, while staring at Aiden, who walked toward a secluded place only the two of them, leaving the other five representatives looked at each other with confusion.
Those two shouldn’t have talked privately, because it seemed inappropriate.
Despite the peace treaty in place, they should still be caution with the lycan pack.
“What they are talking about?” Danny asked to no one in particular.
“I don’t remember that we agreed to have a discussion alone like this?”
“What the meaning of this?”
