‘Do you want a baby?’
The question rang in Lilac’s ears, which turned them very red, especially when he said those word with not so quiet tone.
Lilac immediately turned her body and caught Hunter’s innocent face, but in truth, there was nothing about him that was innocent. There was no way he asked the question without any hiding intention.
“What?” Hunter raised his brows, as if he was confused with the look Lilac gave to him. “I only asked a question. If you wanted it, I will be willing to give it to you.”
This time, not only Lilac, but Ruby, Aiden and luna Jasmine felt their heart jolted with the brazen and lewd word that Hunter said.
How could he talk something so vulgar in front of so many people? Wasn’t he ashamed?
Yet, in Hunter’s mind what else to be ashamed when he teased his own mate. More so, who said that he was not serious with what he was saying?
Lilac then tried to solve the situation, she cleared her throat and then took the baby from Ruby’s arms, she held the baby’s small figure and smiled softly. She disliked Ruby, but after seeing the baby’s little face, Lilac forgot about that.
“He is very cute,” Lilac gushed over the baby, which left all of them stared at her with their own thought.
If Hunter was only teasing her earlier when he asked her about the baby, now he wanted a baby with her for real. The way Lilac held the little one in her arms and how soft her expression was when she made the baby cried…. Was something that would forever etch in his mind.
However, it was not only Hunter, who saw Lilac as a perfect mother figure, Aiden could see… he could imagine a future with Lilac with their baby in her arms, instead of the baby that came from Ruby.

Lilac was his mate. She was the woman that should be with him, she was the woman that belonged to him and was created only for him. The baby that she held, supposed to be the baby that came from her womb if he didn’t make a mistake with Ruby.

She could feel the way people stared at Lilac right now and how Aiden stared at his ex mate with such devotion eyes that made her blood boiled, she wanted to claw Lilac’s face and disfigure her. She needed to find a way to control her hatred toward Lilac for taking everything from her.
“My baby doesn’t look comfortable, come, give him back to me,” Ruby said
begrudgingly, even though her statement didn’t match with how Azel was laughing and looked very happy when he was with Lilac.
And without waiting for Lilac’s reaction, Ruby had taken back her son without any scrupulous, she didn’t even bother to hide her dislike toward Lilac.

“You are being rude, Ruby. You shouldn’t have done that,” Aiden reprimanded her because he was upset, since the image of Lilac was holding a baby was ruined. He wanted to watch a little bit longer and let his imagination ran wild, thinking that was his baby and Lilac’s.
On the other hand, Lilac didn’t seem to care, she was only worried for the safety of the baby because the way Ruby was taking back her son was not so gentle, because of that too, Azel started to cry, as the baby felt the change of the atmosphere and the feeling of the person, who was holding him.
