Chapter 133
Obviously, Hunter wouldn’t leave Lilac alone, but he had to do something. The secret message that he received bothered him. Who else knew about another lycan pack? His pack was the only lycan pack in this realm, as far as he knew.
More so, this other lycan didn’t seem friendly at all. They actually worked under Kellan’s command to attack their pack. There must be more into it.
Hunter walked in this corridor, as he met with a few people. Most of the women would turn their head to take a second glance at him and then giggled, which made Hunter was so mad. The sound of their voices, annoyed him. He didn’t like their attention.
It was a good thing that he knew where the library was, since he had been in this pack before and investigated the whole place when these werewolves didn’t pay attention to him.
And when he finally reached the library, he realized this was empty. There was no one there. It was very quiet here, while out there, the festivity only started.
Hunter looked around and sniffed the air, thinking the person would come later, he went to the fireplace and picked a random book to look at.
That was when he caught her scent. He knew her scent because he had been with her, but what surprised him was the fact this woman was actually here.
“Hunter, long time no see.” Grace walked inside the library, she locked the door and threw the key away. She was determined not to let him go. “I hope you missed me.”
Hunter narrowed his eyes. “You are in this pack. Alpha Aiden has been sheltering you.” That was not even a question, but a statement and Grace didn’t even deny it.
“I missed you, Hunter.” Grace looked at him with so much longing in her eyes. She was oblivious of how much disdain Hunter had for her right now. “I miss you. I missed when we were together.”
Grace made an advance and threw herself at him.

Meanwhile, inside the party, Lilac looked around her because she couldn’t find Hunter anywhere. There was no way he would leave her alone here when he made sure she wouldn’t roam around out of his sight.
“What are you looking for?” Aria asked when she saw Lilac was a little bit panic. “Are you looking for alpha Hunter?”
“Have you seen him?” Lilac asked, she felt uneasy knowing Hunter left her alone. There must be something going on.

Chapter 133
“I don’t know.” Aria shook her head. “He might step outside to get some fresh air.”
Lilac didn’t think that made sense, but she didn’t have any other idea. “I want to look around first.”
“Sure.” Aria was happy to follow her.
Lilac was still unsure whether or not she should leave the party, but after she looked around and still couldn’t find Hunter, she agreed to Aria’s suggestion.

“Why don’t we go out and look for him?” Aria looked around her. “It’s quite stuffy here.”
“Okay,” Lilac agreed. “Let’s go.”
Both of them stepped out of the main room and walked in the corridor, as they went to the garden. The noise gradually faded away as they walked further from there.
“Don’t you miss being here?” Aria asked, engaged her in a conversation, as they walked silently. “I can see you still have some lingering feeling in this place.”
Lilac smiled a little. “How could I not,” she finally admitted it in small voice. “I lived here for years. How can I not miss this place, sometime?”
“Why don’t you comeback then? You don’t need to leave anymore.” Aria stepped in front of her and both of them stopped walking. “You can comeback. I can see alpha Aiden is not happy with that woman. He still loves you. He still wants you. I can see how much he regrets his action and wants you back.”
Lilac stared at Aria. She said nothing and let her kept talking.
“Let go, Lilac. I know you still want him too. This is your time. You don’t need to go back to that barbarous pack anymore. You can stay here and we can be friend like before.”
“I thought you have changed. I guess, I am wrong.” Lilac realized something. She felt stu pid to even fell in this trick twice. “What do you want now, Aria? Is this the order from luna Jasmine too?”
