In The Midst of Chaos, There's Us Kelly's POV

Wearing a simple dress, I went out of Pierce's car. Again, I watched him as he opened the door behind the driver seat and Snow went out.

I felt a hollow in my heart as I watched them. Pierce fixes Snow's dress while they're smiling at each other. Last night, because of Klay's unexpected call, I was unable to tell Pierce about Snow. I was so occupied by the fear of the possibilities that it completely slipped off my mind.

"Kelly..." Pierce's gentle voice calling me brought me back to reality.

He walked towards me and stared at my face. "Don't worry about anything. He can't take you away again."

This morning, Pierce accompanied me to the police station to report about Klay's sudden call. We brought Snow with us because I couldn't calm my mind.

"He can never touch you again," Pierce whispered as he leaned closer to me and planted a soft kiss on my temple.

His gesture made my heart race again. I looked up at him again and stared into his brown and loving eyes. That's when the door swung open and I saw how many people were inside. We immediately caught their attention and I'm certain that they recognized me. I swallowed hard when Pierce carried Snow and put his other arm around my waist. I couldn't look at the people watching us.

I don't wanna make a scene like this, but I can't leave Snow. I thought of not attending this party, but I know Phoebe would be disappointed. So, I chose to be a headline on the news tomorrow instead of leaving Phoebe disappointed or leaving Snow in my condo even if Ana is there.

"Kelly!" Pierce's sister greeted us. She looked very happy wearing a beautiful gown and a crown.

"Happy birthday, Phoebe." I hugged her and kissed her cheek before I handed my gift.

She looked at me happily before she accepted the gift and looked at Snow in Pierce's arm. "Hello, lovely."

Snow giggled as her eyes twinkled, looking at Phoebe's crown. "You look like a princess, Aunt."

Phoebe chuckled and took her crown off of her head. She gently put it on Snow's head and Snow was so happy.
