I took a deep breath and stared at his eyes. I saw the sincerity. The love. The fear of losing me again. I know him when he's lying. I know him when he's telling the truth. I know him too well and I couldn't resist the urge to forgive him and forget about everything I have seen today.

Without thinking twice, I pulled him closer to me and kissed his cheek. I want to kiss his lips but Lexi's lips just ravaged those.

I squeezed my eyes closed when he held my hands and kissed them. I don't even care if there are people outside watching us. I want to feel him. I want him to assure me that it's only me for him. I want to hear it from his own lips that he loves me and that he will accept me even when I know myself that I've changed and I became a different person because of the pain that I've been through.

It's true. Pain changes people but I guess not the feelings.
