Chaos... Kelly's POV

I was sitting in front of Klay. Beside me was Pierce. We're in our house and we called Klay here to talk about what we need to do. There was a series of deafening silence reigning us. There are so many things going on in my mind. I feel awkward. I was used to lashing out at Klay whenever I saw him and seeing him: now, after everything, felt awkward.

Pierce cleared his throat. "We need your help."

Pierce has always been ambitious and proud but he knows when to lower down his pride and that's probably one of his traits that I like. He knows what to say and what to do at the right time especially now that he's matured enough to understand every point of view of the story.

Klay's gaze remained on me for a few seconds before he turned to Pierce. "I'm willing to do anything."

"Connor Foster, Pierce started as he sighed. "After everything that has happened. I know that he'll plot something against Kelly."

Klay's forehead creased. "Did you know who Connor Foster is? Aside from being one of the cunning business tycoon, he's an inactive member of the triad."
