115 The Consequences of Betrayal

Gable stopped, his gaze intense. “What if I just undid everything? Alex’s legs, Lillian’s arm… I fixed them once, I can unfix them.”

The room fell into a deeper silence. Emma sighed heavily, “Gab, I’ve cut ties with them. Your actions… they won’t change the past.‘

Gable’s face hardened. “They wronged you, Emma. I can’t just stand by. If not for you, I would have never saved them in the first place.”
